Convention 2024 - Buffalo

April 4th through April 7th, 2024

April 4-7 will be the time to shuffle off to Buffalo for the 2024 North America Provincial Convention!

We will get things rolling with a four-hour ceili featuring the ever-energetic Drumlin Ceili Band!

Workshop leaders include Padraig and Rosin McEneany for the sets, Joanie Madden teaching tin whistle, Brian Conway for Sligo style fiddling and Patrick Ourceau for Clare Style fiddling, Regina Delaney on harp, Anna Colliton instructing bodhran, Mairin Ul Cheide with Sean nos singing, Kevin Crawford teaching Irish Flute along with workshops for uilleann pipes, banjo, mandolin, bouzouki, button box, concertina, ceili and 2 hand dancing, and Irish Language conversation circles led by Provincial Language Officer Margaret McGrath and Caoimhín Mac Con Raoi with Buffalo’s School of Irish Culture.

There is also a youth program with workshops and activities led by our provincial youth officer Ryan Ward!

The star-studded event highlight is the Saturday night banquet featuring “The Irish and The Erie”, and the Joanie Madden All- Stars.

We are only 30 minutes from Niagara Falls so we will have Thursday night (see the lights!) and Friday afternoon bus trips.

So come on to Buffalo April 4-7, 2024, for a great weekend of fun and camaraderie organized by the Branches of the Northeast Region.
